working on buying a car

first off, i lost my traffic court case yesterday, although the fine was reduced by $30 so i guess i had a few good points in my arguement.  Still ends up on my record   although if i can get car ins in place on my new car asap, i may beat out the ticket showing up on my ins.  wierd how all that works.

i put down a $500 deposit on a 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe, black with black interior and a manual transmission.  Adding a spoiler so it will look like the SI model.  has a moonroof and a 350 watt 7 speaker stereo with subwoofer.  Since they have to build the car for me, it will take a month to get.  Final cost with all accessories and taxes is $22k.  Working on getting a loan right now.  Should be a nice car for many many years for me.

Last week for the job i went through a railroad physical abilities test and hearing/vision/drug test.  At this point all I do is wait till October 30th to begin my 14 week (paid) training.  So long as I don’t really hear anything, I passed the tests/background check. 

So i’ll be able to enjoy football for the first couple of months here before I start work!
