Filed under: Humor — Andy @ 11:17 pm

aparently somewhere i am coming up as a senior citizen in the computer system because i keep getting mailings in my name that have a lot to do with seniors.  stuff like “Support the fight for your social security check!” and this also arrives in the mail:

hey i’m all for it because really who can’t use a free coffee at mcdonalds everyday, save 10% on groceries, and (i need to check with my local aarp chapter on this) i’m sure big savings on cross country bus tours to vegas!  Its about time someone recognized all the hard work i’ve done over the course of my long, long 27 years.

  1. So, answer me this Mr. K-Stater, and I ask in all honesty: for someone who once wrote about KSU being a better coached and superior athletic team over KU, how do you explain Missouri and Nebraska? I mean, I was blown away. They have such talent and couldn’t believe they lost to such mediocre and arguably crappy teams.

  2. it takes a lot of experience to win on the road no matter who you play. I think KSU can beat any team in the nation at home, but going on the road is a whole other deal.
Most good teams struggle on the road, and its that much harder when you haven’t been there before, coach or players. Both Neb (ASU, Oreg) and Mizz (Tex, Purdue) have beaten a number of good teams at home. It happens everywhere, hell, duke lost at miami this week.
